ATS is successful because its senior management team is a collection of strong individuals providing a balanced perspective derived from experience within each major layer of the high tech supply chain -- from OEMs to components distribution to contract manufacturing.  Underpinning this team’s well-grounded understanding of its partners’ needs is the CEO’s pure entrepreneurial drive to share in healthy business growth with those partners.

George Hamilton - CEO

George purchased a very small electronics contract manufacturer in 1984.  His goal was to build a company that “manufactured something”.  Under his leadership and entrepreneurial drive ATS has become the largest and most successful private EMS company in the state of Washington.

ATS’ growth and continued success can be attributed to George’s and the company’s vision and set of operating principles.  The vision provides a basis for developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans that return a maximum value to the customer and provide an environment for a creative and inspired workforce.  The operating principles provide guidance for behaviors that value the individuals that are the ATS team.

Today, George is also responsible for guiding ATS’ strategic vision, listening carefully to customers, and strengthening the company’s partnering skills.  He has a BA and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Mike Kelly - VP of Sales

Mike joined ATS in the summer of 2003 as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  He has over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing in original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and electronic components distribution.  His experience at IBM and Emerson brings ATS valuable perspective into the OEM arena.  His senior-level tenure within the electronics distribution segment brings an equally valuable perspective.  It allows Mike to leverage the resources of world class suppliers to benefit ATS customers’ critical lines-of-business and new product introduction objectives.  Mike has a BA in Business from the University of Washington.

Steve Canzano - VP of Engineering & Design

Steve joined ATS in August 2007 and was assigned leadership of our Engineering and Design services organization.  Steve brings with him 30 years experience in the electronics industry.  A design engineer early in his career, Steve has held progressively responsible leadership positions in Engineering, Sales and Operations.  For the past 5 years Steve has been heavily involved with lean manufacturing and has developed a passion for process improvement.  Prior to joining ATS, Steve held positions as the Vice President of the Electronic Manufacturing Solutions at Crane Co and was the Deputy Director of Power Electronics at Space Systems/ Loral were he received several patents related to his innovative work in power electronics.  Steve received a BSEE from California Polytechnic University Pomona in 1989.

Jeff Bradley - VP of Marketing & New Business Development

Jeff joined ATS in the fall of 2010 as VP of Marketing & New Business Development.  He brings 25 years of leadership experience across technology and manufacturing sectors to the ATS environment.  As a proactive leader, Jeff has developed collaborative teams across sales, marketing, new product development, strategic planning and business development functions.  Prior to joining ATS, Jeff held positions as the Vice President/General Manager of XO Interactive Software, Regional Vice President of Sales at XO Communications and Executive Director of Market Integration at US West/Qwest Communications.  Jeff has an MBA from Columbia University with an emphasis in Finance & Marketing.  Jeff also has an MS from the State University of New York in Counseling Psychology. 

 Kevin Conefrey - VP of HR & Administration

Kevin joined ATS in the spring of 2006 as VP of Human Resources and during his tenure has assumed responsibility for the Information Technology and Finance groups.  With over 20 years of experience, Kevin is able to provide innovative solutions and strategic direction required by the company.  Prior to joining ATS, Kevin served in a breadth of Human Resources roles within the software industry.  His areas of HR focus at ATS are talent acquisition and leadership development services necessary to assist with increasing organizational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and overall customer satisfaction.  Kevin earned his B.S. in Psychology, and his M.S. in HR/Industrial Relations from the University of Oregon.

Renda Palo - Director of Program Management

Renda joined our ATS team in the spring of 2009 as a Program Manager and has assumed responsibility as the Director of Program Management.  She has 10+ years in business, project, and program management.  With a background in business consulting, she brings LEAN experience from many different business and manufacturing environments.  Renda’s focus areas are customer satisfaction, program leadership, operational performance, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.  Renda has her B.S. in Business Management and Human Resources and is working towards an M.B.A. in Project Management.  

Julio Cesar Bello - Mexico Operations Plant Manager

Julio joined ATS at the start-up of our Hermosillo facility in 2004 bringing with him a wealth of industrial engineering knowledge and experience which resulted in the successful launch and continuing growth of our Mexico operations.  His leadership and customer focus skills in contract manufacturing, facility startup and production transfer (from US to Mexico) brings to ATS a valuable offering for rapid growth products within the ATS service foundations of responsiveness, adaptability, reliability, and continuous improvement.  Julio has over 10 years of experience in electronic, electromechanical, surface mount, hand assembly, and box build operations. His previous experience focused on program manufacturing for international companies implementing Maquiladora PCB assembly operations, including both high-volume low-mix and low-volume high-mix production.  Julio earned his B.S. Industrial Engineering degree from the Universidad de Sonora in Mexico.
