Medical Devices
  • ATS has significant experience in the design and manufacture of life saving medical devices.  One example, is a series of mountable diagnostic ultrasound devices.  These devices, built to US military standards for durability, offer hospitals a zero footprint ultrasound imaging solution.  One device is designed specifically for medical personnel working in the musculoskeletal pathology while another device is designed for anesthesiologists that need a tool that can be operated with one pair of hands.  This device provides amazingly clear image quality.

 

  • The ATS team has been involved in the design and manufacture of a medical device that provides picture of a patient’s airways thus enabling quick intubation.  This critical device is used in clinical settings where the airways are unpredictable or difficult.  The device is operational literally in seconds and comes in multiple sizes.

 

  • Another medical device application is a noninvasive bladder volume measurement device.  This device is a 3D ultrasound instrument that measures bladder volume and provides accurate data to assist medical personnel in the diagnosis of various urological conditions.
